MISSION AND PURPOSE

We understand that families in underserved communities to not have the proper resources or knowledge to understand the IEP process and often times agree to services for their children that do not take their concerns for their child into consideration.

We are dedicated to empowering students with disabilities by advocating for equitable access to quality education. We collaborate with families, schools, and communities to ensure that every child receives the support, accommodations, and opportunities needed to reach their full potential. Through personalized advocacy, we strive to break down barriers, promote inclusive practices, and create lasting change in the educational landscape for students with diverse needs

Families deserve adequate access to professional development trainings that will help put their child's IEP into plain language along with tools to advocate for themselves at daunting IEP meetings.

As a former case manager and special educator, it is important that through collaborative partnerships, educational workshops, and accessible tools, we strive to create a positive impact on the lives of families, ensuring every child receives the tailored support required for a successful and fulfilling educational experience.
